This is made possible by the booking platform with which Cologne Bonn Airport is cooperating, as the first German airport, with immediate effect. Passengers wishing to combine flights from different airlines to get to their final destination can now do so easily, with just a few clicks, instead of having to book all the tickets separately. has embedded this service directly on the Cologne/Bonn Airport website. Further planned activities are based on's "Hosted Stopover Programme", and include the optimisation of transfer times and offers for self-connect passengers flying via Cologne.

Anyone wishing, for example, to fly from Cologne/Bonn to Barcelona with Airline No. 1, and to continue from there to Santiago de Chile with Airline No. 2 can book the two flights as a package using the Kiwi platform. Individual bookings are no longer necessary thanks to's "virtual interlining".
