Torsten Schrank to be second Managing Director at Cologne/Bonn Airport
The Supervisory Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH has appointed Torsten Schrank as the new second Managing Director of the Airport Company. The 44 year-old Businesss Administration graduate is expected to take up his position at the beginning of May.
Torsten Schrank has held various functions and executive positions at Munich Airport for more than 20 years. Since 2016 he has been Head of Corporate Controlling and Investment Management; he was also largely responsible for the successful implementation of a corporate-wide programme for improving profits. As the Managing Director of the company “Flughafen München Baugesellschaft”, he is currently also entrusted with the realisation of infrastructure measures. He was greatly involved in the development of the “Satellite Terminal” with a total investment of 900 million Euros, as well as in the new “LabCampus”.

He has extensive knowledge both in the fields of finance and infrastructure. In his new office as Managing Director (CFO, Chief Financial Officer) at Cologne/Bonn Airport, Torsten Schrank will in future be responsible for the sectors, Finances, Human Resources, Infrastructure and IT.
Torsten Schrank is Cologne born-and-bred. He is married and has two children.
