Anti-corruption
The avoidance of corruption acts and property crime is for the Airport Company Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH of fundamental importance, as it is for everyone.
To avoid such occurrences, comprehensive measures have been agreed upon and introduced. These include binding regulations for employees regarding the acceptance of benefits, as well as the formation of an anti-corruption committee that coordinates the measures taken and pursues any information received, plus the appointment of an ombudsman as an external contact for internal and external persons providing information.
In the anti-corruption management, the task of the ombudsman is to receive information and forward this to Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. In such a case, he will only forward information if the informant has given him permission to do so. Since the ombudsman has the legal right to refuse to give evidence, an informant - if he so wishes - can be assured that he will remain absolutely anonymous for Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.
The ombudsman documents any acts of corruption, irregularities, conflicts of interest or infringements of law. General complaints will not be documented. Other bodies at the Airport are responsible for disclosures under the German Equal Treatment Act (AGG) or suggestions for improvement.
No costs will incur for the person providing information. They can contact our ombudsman personally or via any other communication way:
