The airport's shareholders are the city of Cologne (31.12 per cent), the state (30.94 per cent), the federal government (30.94 per cent), the city of Bonn (6.06 per cent), the Rhein-Sieg district (0.59 per cent) and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district (0.35 per cent).
