Let for retail, catering and services

Cologne/Bonn Airport offers attractive spaces for retail, catering and services in an established, high-traffic environment with an international audience.

If you’d like to successfully launch an existing concept at a prime location, we’ll support you every step of the way, from site analysis right through to implementation.

We work particularly closely with young and new businesses as they establish themselves at the airport, from the joint further development of the concept through to the specific operational and security requirements, right through to suitable test and pop-up spaces.

Together, we will find the space and format that best suits your offering and your growth objectives.

On the landside, we offer spaces ranging from 20 to 200 m². On the airside, spaces ranging from 30 to 100 m² are available. Subdivision is possible by arrangement.

Tenant mix

Our tenant mix is designed to create a balanced mix of different sectors and concepts. This attractive environment benefits our passengers, visitors and staff just as much as it does our tenants. It increases visibility, creates synergies and ensures the sustainable use of space.

Key Facts

High passenger volume

With around 10 million passengers a year, the airport offers a steady flow of visitors and maximum visibility – ideal for retail, catering and service-oriented businesses.

A strong hub for employment

With over 14,000 employees at the site and thousands more in the surrounding area, the airport is one of the region’s largest private-sector employers. For tenants, this means a large and stable customer base.

Round-the-clock flight operations (24/7)

24/7 operation allows for flexible opening and service hours and creates additional revenue opportunities, particularly for businesses that wish to be accessible outside traditional business hours.

International audience

Connections to destinations in numerous countries bring international travellers to the location every day. Tenants benefit from a diverse clientele with strong purchasing power and the opportunity to position their brands internationally.

Attractive shopping rate on Sundays and public holidays

The special shopping rate of €3 for parking on Sundays and public holidays lowers the barriers to visiting and makes the location more attractive to shoppers and leisure visitors. This is a direct way to boost footfall and turnover.

Excellent public transport links

The fact that it can be reached quickly by bus and train in just a few minutes from Cologne Central Station makes the location easily accessible for both staff and customers, and enhances its appeal to both international and regional audiences.
