Parking: Entry and exit (general)

The maximum entry height in P2 and P3 is 1.95 metres. Larger vehicles can use the north car park or P1.

Motorbikes or scooters can be parked in car park 2 at the regular rate in the separate security area (level 4, sector D).

To do this, please use the central barrier leading from the motorway to level 4 in P2. Please do not take a regular ticket at the entrance barrier, but use the intercom function. You will then be given a ticket by the ticket office and the barrier will be opened manually. The security area for parking the motorbike/scooter will then be opened.

After parking, the ticket must be validated at the ticket machine (next to the ticket booth) at the regular rate. Please speak to the ticket office afterwards so that the security area can be opened. Please press the intercom function again at the exit barrier. The barrier will then be opened again manually.

There is a call button at all entrance and exit barriers that connects you to the service staff. The service staff are available around the clock to answer your questions.

Classic: A ticket is taken when you enter the car park at the central barrier. This is linked to your vehicle licence plate number and allows you to enter and exit any other parking area without a ticket. If you wish to pay your parking fee at a pay machine, you must insert this ticket at the pay machine.

Reservation:

Within the free transit time (maximum once per day), the ticket opens the barrier to the exit without separate validation, unless the barrier opens automatically.

At the exit, you can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or credit card (Amex, MasterCard, VISA) at the exit terminal. At the ticket machines, payment is possible with cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit card (Amex, MasterCard, VISA).

After passing through the barrier system, you can stop directly in front of the terminals free of charge within a ten-minute free transit time (maximum once per day). After the free passage time has expired, the current tariff applies according to the parking tariff table.

If you wish to park in car parks P2 or P3, you will be directed there before the central barriers. Anyone wishing to park in car park P1 must pass through the central barrier at the terminal entrance. Customers with an online reservation for car park P1 use their identification medium at the first barrier/central barrier.

The airport's service staff will check and clarify such cases on site.

Parking: Entry and exit (reservation)

Provided that you enter within the booked time period (or the valid grace period according to your reservation confirmation), the barrier recognises your identification medium and opens.

If you have entered your vehicle licence plate number as part of your reservation, the barrier will open automatically via licence plate recognition. In principle, you can always hold the QR code on your reservation confirmation in front of the QR code reader to open the barrier.

This is also valid regardless of the licence plate number stored and opens the barrier even if you want to enter with a different licence plate number than the one stored.

You can use one of the means of identification stored for this reservation for entry and exit. You will find the identification media on your reservation confirmation. If you have stored your vehicle licence plate number, this should be automatically recognised when you enter and exit the car park and the barrier should open. If you wish to leave the car park more than 12 hours before the booked exit, the vehicle registration number will not be accepted at the exit for security reasons and another identification medium must be used to exit. You can always use the QR code on your reservation confirmation for identification.

You can use the QR code of your reservation to validate the ticket you have taken by mistake at the pay station and thus activate your reservation. To do this, first insert the paper ticket into the machine and the regular parking tariff will be displayed. Now hold the QR code from your reservation in front of the scanner at the pay station. The ticket will be validated and remain in the ticket machine. To exit the car park, please use one of the identification media stored for this reservation.

In this case, a parking fee will be charged for the longer parking period in accordance with the parking tariffs of the respective car park. As a rule, parking is charged by the hour, or by the day in the case of longer overruns. Additional payments can be made using Apple Pay, Google Pay or a credit card (MasterCard, Amex, VISA) at the exit terminal. If you do not have a credit card, please pay the additional amount by scanning the QR code of your reservation at one of our pay machines. You will receive a receipt as proof of payment.

No, you can go directly to the exit with your car and use the identification medium used at the entrance. If you entered the vehicle licence plate number when booking and used it when entering, the barrier will open automatically when you exit. If you have entered via QR code, please also scan this at the exit barrier.

In the event that you leave the car park earlier than the booked end time, there will be no refund.

The display "0 free parking spaces" means that only those who have not reserved a parking space online can no longer drive in. As a reserved car park customer, you can still enter the car park using your chosen identification medium. We guarantee that a parking space is free for you.

The booking grants you one entry and one exit to the car park you have booked. As soon as you exit the car park, your booking is considered valid and you cannot re-enter without taking a ticket.

Parking: Online reservation

Free rebooking is possible once, subject to availability, if the customer has registered in the online booking system, the rebooking is made at least 12 hours in advance (before the start of the booked rental period) and there are no more than 24 hours between the start of the previous and the new booked rental period. If a more favourable rate is selected as a result of the rebooking, payment of the difference is not possible. If a booking is made without registration, it is not possible to change or upgrade the reservation.

You can cancel your reservation up to 12 hours before the booked entry. A refund of the reservation fee of €3 is excluded. If you do not use the reserved parking space without cancelling, you are not entitled to a refund of the parking fee.

You can change your licence plate number as a registered customer. Log in to your user account and enter your updated licence plate number under Identification media. It is also possible to enter the car park without a correctly stored licence plate number using the QR code as an identification medium, which you received in your reservation confirmation. The QR code remains the same after a licence plate change.

The minimum parking time for online reservations is 24 hours for car parks P1, P2 and P-North and 48 hours for P3.

For the car parks P1, P2, P3 and the P-North car park, booking is possible up to 1 hour before the start of parking (limited contingent).

You will also receive an invoice with the booking confirmation that you receive by e-mail. Please ensure that you enter the correct billing address when booking, as this cannot be corrected at a later date.

The airport charges a reservation fee of €3.

Yes, you can make several bookings for the same period.

For online reservations, the parking fee and the reservation fee shown on the booking screen are due for payment in advance immediately upon booking via Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or credit card (Master Card, VISA or American Express). The payment medium (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or credit card) should be valid at least until the end of the rental period specified in the booking confirmation.

Presence parkers pay the parking fee after the parking process via Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit card (Master Card, VISA or American Express) at a pay machine or at the exit. Cash payments are only possible at cash machines.
