Fast food restaurant is the 15th new opening
New burgers in the same place: The Autogrill Group, part of the Avolta Group, has reopened its popular fast food restaurant at Cologne Bonn Airport. Travellers and other guests can now visit the newly designed Burger King® restaurant, which covers an area of around 270 square metres in the public area of Terminal 1. It is the most modern Burger King® concept in Germany.
‘Centrally located in our airport, the burger restaurant is now particularly popular with families in the summer,’ says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. ‘We are therefore delighted that this offering has been significantly upgraded with its modern design, is back just in time for the start of the school holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia and complements the wide range of dining options in our terminals so well.’
The fast-food restaurant has been given a modern interior and improved customer service. Burger King® now also has digital terminals that enable quick and convenient ordering.
Burger King® is the 15th of a total of 17 catering outlets that Autogrill is implementing at the airport under the Avolta umbrella. Numerous new and innovative concepts have been implemented in recent months, expanding the airport's culinary offering. Popular brands such as Heberer Wiener Feinbäcker & Traditional Bakery, Le Crobag, Two Tigers, 51 Degrees Bar & Kitchen, Espresso House, Simit Sarayi, Brewgate in Terminal 2, Amore Bar & Restaurant, Brewgate in Terminal 1, Bistrot ‘grab and go’ as well as Nakha - Taste of Orient and the brewery ‘früh bis spät’ are already welcoming their guests. Further concepts such as the Mediterranean casual dining concept Terracotta will open soon.
