Daily flights to Antalya on a Boeing 777

Mavi Gök Airlines is now operating a larger aircraft from Cologne Bonn Airport for its daily service to Türkiye.

Instead of the Boeing 757 used previously, the route to Antalya is now operated by a Boeing 777-300ER. With 339 seats, this wide-body aircraft offers 22 per cent more seating capacity and more space for passengers. Furthermore, the largest aircraft in the Mavi Gök fleet provides a particularly comfortable travel experience, modern facilities and generous legroom. Furthermore, the aircraft features more than 60 Business Class and Premium Economy seats with particularly upmarket amenities, which can be booked through tour operators. The Business Class seats can be reclined to a fully flat position. Moreover, the Boeing 777-300ER, which was originally developed for long-haul flights, is a latest-generation, low-noise aircraft.

Since 2023, Mavi Gök Airlines has been operating flights at Cologne Bonn Airport as part of the summer timetable. In 2026, Mavi Gök Airlines will operate daily flights to Antalya until November.

Türkiye is one of Cologne Bonn Airport’s most important destinations. During the summer, more than 200 flights a week take off for Turkish destinations at times. With up to 13 daily connections, Antalya is one of the top destinations.

About Mavi Gök Airlines

Mavi Gök Airlines (MGA) was founded in March 2007 in Antalya, Türkiye, as a maintenance company. In 2022, MGA received its own AOC operating licence, and its first flight took off on 19 July 2022. In addition to aircraft maintenance services, MGA operates a fleet comprising various aircraft types, enabling the company to meet a wide range of operational requirements. In May 2024, MGA was recognised as an IOSA-certified airline under the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) programme and was admitted as an IATA member airline in September 2024.
