Dubai and Jeddah back on the winter timetable from Cologne/Bonn

Eurowings will fly to both destinations three times a week from November.
Flights to Dubai will in future be direct to the central DXB airport.

Winter sun, unique destinations and great variety: Eurowings is resuming flights to Dubai and Jeddah from Cologne Bonn Airport in the upcoming winter timetable. Immediately following the autumn half-term holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia, flights to the Emirate of Dubai will operate three times a week from 3 November. The route to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will commence on 12 November, also with three weekly flights.

“We are delighted that the two Eurowings destinations, Dubai and Jeddah, are once again featured on our departure board this winter,” says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “Both destinations are of particular importance to our airport and a real asset to the winter timetable. They offer our passengers attractive direct travel options and strengthen our airport’s international connections.”

From 3 November, flights to Dubai will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Return flights depart from Dubai on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The destination airport is new: in the upcoming winter timetable, Eurowings will fly to the centrally located Dubai International Airport (DXB) for the first time. The airline will operate an Airbus A320neo on the route, which takes around six and a half hours. From 1 December, Eurowings’ Premium BIZ Seat will also be available for booking on these flights. The eight seats, arranged in an exclusive 2x2 configuration, offer, amongst other things, plenty of legroom and greater privacy.

Jeddah is also back on the flight schedule for the colder months: from 12 November, Eurowings will operate flights from Cologne/Bonn to the Saudi port city on the Red Sea every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Return flights take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. An Airbus A321neo will be used for the service. The flight time is just under six hours.

In addition to the two Gulf destinations, Eurowings will continue two routes this coming winter that were previously only offered in the summer: flights to Klagenfurt in Austria will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, from 2 November. An additional service will be added on Wednesdays around Christmas. Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, will also remain accessible via direct flights with the airline this winter: the route will be served every Saturday from 7 November. During the Christmas period, there will also be an additional service on Wednesdays.

All flights are already bookable on the Eurowings website at www.eurowings.com.
