Eurowings expands summer flight schedule from Cologne/Bonn

Airline adds Tbilisi, Belgrade and other destinations to its programme.
Frequencies will also be increased on various routes.

New destinations at Cologne Bonn Airport: Eurowings is expanding its programme for the coming summer flight schedule to include several new destinations. With new connections to Tbilisi in Georgia and Belgrade in Serbia, both capitals will be directly accessible from Cologne/Bonn from July onwards. The airline is also adding a new route to London Gatwick. In addition, Eurowings will serve Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, in future and will continue to operate the route to Arrecife on Lanzarote during the summer months.

“The new connections expand the route network from Cologne/Bonn, particularly with additional European capitals, and offer our passengers even more options in the flight schedule“, says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “As the home airport of Eurowings, we are very pleased that these new destinations are being added to the summer flight schedule.“

The new destinations offer travellers a variety of perspectives: Tbilisi and Belgrade each boast a rich cultural and historical heritage, exciting architecture and lively city centres. London complements the portfolio as a European metropolis, while Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, offers insights into the young political and cultural development of the region. Arrecife on the Canary Islands, on the other hand, attracts visitors as a classic beach and holiday destination with sun, sea and a relaxed island atmosphere.

The airline will initially fly to Tbilisi once a week, every Thursday, starting on 2 July. From 20 July, the frequency will increase to two weekly connections (Mondays and Thursdays). Eurowings will fly to Belgrade twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) from 17 July. The airline will launch its service to London Gatwick on 29 March, when the summer flight schedule begins, flying to the airport in the south of the British capital twice a day. Pristina will be served twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays starting 1 July. Flights to Arrecife will initially take place on Tuesdays and Sundays from the end of March, and on Saturdays from May onwards. The airline will use modern aircraft from the Airbus A320 and A321 family on all new routes. Flights can already be booked at www.eurowings.com

In addition, Eurowings is increasing the frequency of many existing routes from Cologne/Bonn in its 2026 summer flight schedule. More flights are planned to Bastia, Erbil, Yerevan, Klagenfurt, Pula, Split and Valencia, among other destinations. Tickets for these connections are also available on the airline's website.
