Eurowings is adding new destinations from Cologne/Bonn

Good prospects for the summer: next year, the airline Eurowings will be flying from Cologne Bonn Airport to several new destinations, in addition to numerous popular destinations. This will make the airline's programme even more diverse in the next summer flight schedule. New to the programme from 12 April is Bastia on the French island of Corsica. Eurowings is also adding new routes to Klagenfurt (from 2 May) and Erbil (from 7 May). Funchal on the Portuguese island of Madeira is also part of the new summer flight schedule from 3 April. The airline is also increasing the frequency of flights on various routes.

‘We are very pleased that our important partner Eurowings is offering new routes for the next summer holiday season, following the successful inclusion of the routes to Dubai and Jeddah in the current winter flight schedule,’ says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. ’The new direct destinations are a real asset for our airport and especially for our passengers, because they make the airport's flight schedule even more diverse.’

Madeira is a popular sunny destination and known as the ‘flower island’. It not only scores with warm temperatures and beautiful bays, but also with an impressive mountainous landscape that invites you to go hiking, as well as cultural attractions, especially in Funchal. The airline will fly to the island's capital from 3 April, operating two weekly flights from Cologne/Bonn, every Thursday and Sunday.

Corsica in the Mediterranean is also known for its combination of sun, sea and mountains, which guarantees a varied holiday. The port city of Bastia also invites you to stroll and linger in its narrow streets. Flights to Bastia will take place every Saturday from 12 April.

Eurowings will operate flights to Klagenfurt, located in Carinthia in the south of Austria directly on the picturesque Wörthersee, every Monday and Friday from 2 May. Flights to Erbil, the capital of the autonomous region of Kurdistan in Iraq, will take place every Wednesday from 7 May and are particularly interesting for travellers visiting family and friends.

Eurowings is also increasing the frequency of flights on various routes and will in future fly more frequently from Cologne/Bonn to Burgas, Alicante, Nice, Verona and Sarajevo, among other destinations. In addition, the airline is offering the recently launched connection to Dubai not only in the current winter flight schedule, but also in April and October.

All flights can be booked at www.eurowings.com.
