Ryanair adds new winter destinations to its schedule

Tirana now available for the first time.
Agadir will be accessible year-round in the future.

More choices for winter vacations: Ryanair is further expanding its offerings at Cologne Bonn Airport and adding two attractive new destinations to its flight schedule for the upcoming winter season. For the first time, the airline will connect Cologne/Bonn with Tirana, and the Moroccan coastal city of Agadir will also be served during the winter months. Albania’s capital is featured in the winter schedule with up to five weekly flights, while Agadir will be served twice a week.

“We are very pleased that Ryanair is further strengthening its commitment to Cologne Bonn Airport and offering our passengers two additional destinations this winter,” says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “Tirana is a completely new destination that perfectly complements our route network in Southeast Europe. At the same time, Agadir will be accessible year-round — a win for everyone looking for sun and beaches even during the winter season.”

Marcel Pouchain Meyer, Country Manager & Head of Communications DACH at Ryanair, says: “We’re excited to add Tirana to our route network from Cologne/Bonn, offering our customers even more choice and excellent value for their vacation trips. In doing so, we’re once again supporting regional tourism and enabling families and vacationers to enjoy affordable vacations in the sun.”

Tirana: new destination in the winter flight schedule

Ryanair will begin offering direct flights to Tirana from Cologne/Bonn starting October 25. The flight time is approximately two and a half hours. Tirana is the political, economic, and cultural center of Albania and captivates visitors with an exciting blend of tradition and modernity. Highlights such as Skanderbeg Square, the Et’hem Bey Mosque, the so-called Clock Tower, and the Pyramid of Tirana invite visitors to explore. With Mount Dajti and the lush countryside in the surrounding area, a city trip can be perfectly combined with excursions into nature.

Agadir: popular summer destination now accessible in winter

Agadir, previously a summer-only destination, will now be served by flights in the winter as well, making it accessible year-round from Cologne/Bonn. The city on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, known for its mild climate, long sandy beaches, and diverse recreational activities, will be included in the flight schedule on Mondays and Fridays starting October 26. The flight time is approximately four hours.

Ryanair will serve both destinations with Boeing 737 aircraft. Bookings can be made at www.ryanair.com.
