FLYONE Armenia connects Cologne/Bonn with the Armenian capital
Another capital city connection is being launched: on Tuesday, an aircraft from FLYONE Armenia landed at Cologne Bonn Airport for the first time – and then took off for the first flight to Yerevan. From now on, the airline will connect the airport with the Armenian capital twice a week, every Monday and Friday. The new route to Yerevan adds more variety to the route network from Cologne/Bonn and offers travellers more opportunities to take a holiday in Armenia or visit family and friends there.
Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world and combines culture, urban life and history in a unique way. The cityscape is characterised by both modern architecture and historic buildings, and visitors are invited to linger in the bars, cafés and restaurants. Places of interest include Republic Square, where the ‘singing fountains’ light up in the evening in an impressive display of lights, and the Cascade, which delights visitors with its open-air art gallery and a panoramic view of Mount Ararat. Those interested in history can visit the Erebuni Fortress, which is considered the birthplace of the city.
The flights take off from Cologne/Bonn every Monday and Friday at 8 p.m.; the flight time is around five hours. An Airbus A320 is used. Tickets can be booked on the airline's website at www.flyone.eu.
