New capital city connection from Cologne/Bonn: MySky 24, in cooperation with Trade Air, is flying from Cologne Bonn Airport to Pristina as part of the winter flight schedule. The flight to the capital of Kosovo will depart every Monday and Friday starting on December 13. The route to Pristina is a new connection for both the airline and the airport.
“With Pristina, the flight schedule is being expanded to include a completely new and very exciting destination,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. ”This route is an attractive addition to our existing services to Eastern Europe.”
Pristina, an important trading center since Roman times, is characterized by the rich history of influences from many different cultures. In the past two decades, Pristina, as the capital of the youngest state in Europe, has developed enormously and has become a political and economic center in Southeastern Europe. The city is home to various religious and cultural buildings and institutions, including the Sultan Mehmet II al-Fatih Mosque and the Museum of Kosovo. The Serbian Orthodox monastery of Gračanica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Gadime Cave are also nearby.
Departure from Cologne/Bonn is every Monday and Friday. After a flight time of just under two and a half hours, the plane lands in Pristina. The return flight from Kosovo to the Rhineland also departs every Monday and Friday. An Airbus 320 is used for the flights. The flights can be booked at www.mysky24.com and www.airmunich.eu.
