Wizz Air flies from Cologne/Bonn to Tuzla

New route to Bosnia and Herzegovina starting in December

Wizz Air is expanding its network: the airline will launch a new route from Cologne Bonn Airport to Tuzla on 12 December. After Skopje and Bucharest, the city in Bosnia and Herzegovina is already the third route that Wizz Air is adding from Cologne/Bonn this year. The airline will initially operate the route three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. With the 2026 summer schedule, a fourth weekly flight will be added on Sundays from the end of March.

“We are delighted that Wizz Air is continuing to expand its commitment to our airport with its third new connection,’ said Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. ‘The new flights to Tuzla further expand the range of routes to Eastern Europe from Cologne/Bonn, and our passengers will benefit from even more choice.”

Anastasia Novak, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: “This expansion reflects our continued commitment to offering smart travel options across Europe and beyond. With this new connection from Cologne/Bonn we are proud to strengthen our presence in the region and respond to the growing demand for Germans to explore new and unique destinations, visit friends and relatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We look forward to welcoming even more passengers aboard our flights. Let’s WIZZ!”

Tuzla is the third largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is picturesquely situated between rolling hills and salt lakes, which are ideal for swimming in the city centre. The charming old town attracts visitors with its cafés, restaurants and cultural offerings, while the surrounding area is perfect for a variety of excursions into the countryside – ideal for a varied stay.

Wizz Air operates modern Airbus A321 aircraft on flights to Tuzla. The flight time is around two hours. The connection to Tuzla – as well as the routes to Skopje and Bucharest – can now be booked at www.wizzair.com and mobile app.
