New direct route expands flight options to Türkiye from Cologne/Bonn.
Only flight connection between Germany and Sivas.
The Türkiye route network at Cologne/Bonn Airport is expanding: AJet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, is now also flying to Sivas. The airline operates a weekly flight connecting Cologne/Bonn with the city in Central Anatolia. Flights depart every Wednesday, and the flight time is approximately four hours.
“The new direct route strengthens connections to an important region of Central Anatolia and offers a convenient and direct travel option, especially for people who want to visit family and friends,” says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Executive Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.
Sivas is one of the oldest cities in Anatolia and has a population of more than 630,000 today. The city looks back on more than 4,000 years of history and is known for its impressive 13th-century architecture.
The new route is currently the only direct connection between Germany and Sivas and also the only international flight offered from Sivas.
