New “Kamps” outlet opens at the airport

A wide range of products on the arrivals level.

A fresh breakfast before your flight: a new “Kamps” outlet opened on the arrivals level at Cologne/Bonn Airport on 1 July. Following extensive refurbishment, the former ‘Kampus’ convenience store has been transformed into a modern ‘Kamps’ bakery with an expanded range and a redesigned lounge area.

This new concept adds another full-service bakery to the airport’s catering offering. Travellers, visitors and staff will now find a wide selection of freshly baked goods, snacks and various bread specialities at “Kamps”.

In addition to the classic bakery range, a self-service section will also remain. This includes, amongst other things, tobacco products, flowers and an expanded range of cold drinks.

“With the new Kamps bakery, we are creating an attractive offering for our travellers, guests and staff. The outlet combines quality, freshness and a comfortable environment, further enhancing the arrivals level of our airport,” says Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.

“With the modern refurbishment and reopening of our outlet at Cologne Bonn Airport, we are specifically expanding our existing offering and bringing our bakery concept to the arrivals area. “We are delighted to be able to offer visitors to Cologne/Bonn Airport a suitable, high-quality range of products, whether they’re taking a short break or on the go,” says Katharina Keil, Chairwoman of the Management Board at Kamps GmbH.

Customers of the bakery benefit from the airport branch’s particularly long opening hours: The “Kamps” bakery is open round the clock every day of the week.

The new outlet is located on the arrivals level in Terminal 2 and is now open to guests.
