Fly with Eurowings to Pristina, Tbilisi, and Belgrade

Three new destinations are expanding the route network in the summer flight schedule.
More travel options to the Balkans and the Caucasus.

Three inaugural flights within three weeks: Eurowings is expanding its flight schedule at Cologne Bonn Airport to include new routes to the capital cities of Pristina in Kosovo, Tbilisi in Georgia, and Belgrade in Serbia. The new route to Pristina launched today (July 1), and the inaugural flight to Tbilisi will follow tomorrow (July 2). On July 17, a Eurowings aircraft will take off from Cologne/Bonn to Belgrade for the first time. The new routes expand the airline’s existing offerings to include three attractive capital cities in Southeast Europe and the Caucasus.

“The new connections offer attractive opportunities for tourism, family visits, and business travel,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “As Eurowings’ home airport, we are very pleased about the expansion of the service offerings and the further development of our route network.”

“Pristina, Tbilisi, Belgrade — three cities that tell stories. And now accessible directly from Cologne/Bonn. We bring together people who want to visit each other, cultures waiting to be discovered, and regions that deserve better connections. That’s exactly what flying means to us — and that’s exactly what we want to offer our guests: even more of Europe, even more easily accessible,” says Max Kownatzki, CEO of Eurowings.

Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, is now served every Wednesday and Sunday. Europe’s youngest capital offers a vibrant café culture and architecture worth seeing, such as the National University Library with its many domes.

Starting tomorrow, Eurowings will fly to Tbilisi. The Georgian capital, known for its colourful wooden balconies and traditional sulfur baths, has been growing in popularity among tourists for many years. Initially, the route will be served once a week, on Thursdays. Starting July 20, the airline will increase the frequency to two weekly flights and will also offer service on Mondays.

With its inaugural flight to Belgrade on July 17, Eurowings is also adding the Serbian capital to its schedule. It will be served twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The “White City,” as Belgrade’s name translates, is known for its nightlife and the Kalemegdan Fortress towering over the city.

In addition to Pristina, Tbilisi, and Belgrade, Eurowings’ summer flight schedule at Cologne Bonn Airport also includes new routes to London Gatwick Airport — served 13 times a week — and to Arrecife on Lanzarote.

All flights can be booked via the Eurowings website.
