Freebird Airlines Europe is now flying to Fuerteventura

New direct route to the Canary Islands has launched.
The airline continues to expand its offerings from Cologne/Bonn.

From Cologne/Bonn to the Canarian sun: Freebird Airlines Europe has been flying from Cologne Bonn Airport to Fuerteventura since Saturday, June 27. The new direct route is part of the airline’s significantly expanded summer schedule from Cologne/Bonn and offers travelers another attractive nonstop connection to a popular vacation destination.

With Fuerteventura, Freebird Airlines Europe has launched the first new route the airline is offering this summer from Cologne/Bonn. In addition to the Canary Island, the flight schedule will also include the Greek destinations of Kos, Rhodes, and Heraklion on Crete starting July 11. Furthermore, the sister company Freebird Airlines continues to offer daily flights to Antalya.

“The Canary Islands have been among our passengers’ most popular vacation destinations for many years. We are therefore very pleased that travelers can now also fly comfortably and nonstop to Fuerteventura with Freebird Airlines Europe,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.

Fuerteventura is the second-largest island in the Canary Islands and is known for its expansive sandy beaches, mild year-round climate, and ideal conditions for surfers. The island attracts numerous vacationers from all over Europe and beyond every year.

The route is offered every Sunday. An Airbus A320 operated by Freebird Airlines, which is stationed at Cologne Bonn Airport for the summer season, will be used for the service. Flights can be booked via airline’s website www.freebirdairlines.com, travel agencies as well as via online sales channels.
