By bike or on foot
The airport is close by – it is within easy walking or cycling distance from the surrounding communities, making it a worthwhile destination for a day out or a visit to the viewing terrace. The Wahner Heide, one of the most biodiverse nature reserves in Central Europe, is located in the immediate vicinity.
The route leads from Grengel/Urbach via Waldstraße to CGN. Various bicycle parking facilities are available at the airport.
Bike Hotel
The “Bike Hotel® CGN” secure bicycle storage facility (subject to a fee) is also located at the mobility station on P20

KVB hire bikes can also be rented at the mobility station, as well as at a second station in car park 5.
