According to the rail operators, there will be changes to the timetable due to bridge works, meaning that trains will not stop at the airport station from 10.00 pm on Friday 5 June until 5.00 am on Thursday 11 June. The timetable changes for the individual lines are as follows:

- Partial suspension between Cologne/Messe Deutz and Cologne/Bonn Airport
- Direct buses will operate as a replacement service between Cologne Central Station and Cologne/Bonn Airport
