Tehran

Tehran, the capital of Iran, is an impressive destination in many respects. Located in the Iranian highlands, the metropolis borders the Datsch-E Kawir salt desert to the south and a mountain almost 4,000 metres high to the north. Tehran is the cultural, economic and artistic centre of the country.
