Air Cairo is launching a new route between the airport and Luxor from 17 October. Every Saturday, the airline will operate flights from CGN to this historically significant city, which boasts some of the country’s most important sights, including various temples and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
Luxor is also an excellent starting point for a Nile cruise or a round-trip holiday. A beach holiday on the Red Sea can also be combined with this trip.
Air Cairo’s service from Cologne/Bonn is the airline’s most extensive in Germany. As well as Luxor, it includes flights to Cairo, Hurghada and Marsa Alam. Flights to Luxor can be booked via the Air Cairo website as well as through tour operators and travel agencies.
