LEAV expands its range of services in Syria

On 17 August, LEAV Aviation launched its first direct service from Cologne Bonn Airport to the Syrian city of Aleppo and, from 1 September, will be expanding its Syrian route network to include Deir ez-Zor in the east of the country. The airline is thus creating a further direct travel option from Cologne/Bonn, particularly for travellers with family and personal ties to Syria.

The Aleppo route is operated twice a week – every Monday and Saturday. From 1 September, there will be a non-stop flight to Deir ez-Zor every Tuesday. The city is situated in eastern Syria and is the centre of the region of the same name. This means that Deir ez-Zor is now accessible directly from a European airport for the first time.

An Airbus A320-200 will be used on both routes. The flight time is around four hours for each route. Tickets can be booked via the LEAV website at www.leav.com.
